“It’s exciting to be part of something different—the architecture, access to nature, and the whole neighborhood feel at Jackson Meadow. Serene & peaceful, that’s how I would describe it. Living in Marine on St. Croix is also a huge benefit, we have the best of small town life—even a noon whistle—very Norman Rockwellian. We designed a smaller, European-style home, which made our family of three conscious of not accumulating too much stuff. Now, as empty nesters, downsizing isn’t necessary. Even our long commutes to work couldn’t keep us from living at Jackson Meadow.

We knew Jackson Meadow was a perfect fit for our family from the beginning. It’s a highly supportive community ideal for raising families, and where kids bond for a lifetime. Every summer, kids ranging from five to college age organize a “Game Day.” This is a time they play all their favorite childhood games together. We also love our home—it’s open and light, and every room is thoroughly lived in. The Jackson Meadow lifestyle is flexible: You can be actively involved in the community through volunteering, sports, or joining the many social bonfires that are open to all. Or, you can still retreat and have your privacy, too.”

Living in Jackson Meadow is refreshing, literally. Breathing in the highly oxygenated meadow air just makes us feel good. And, we tend to get a lot of air as we use the trails for walking, running, cycling and skiing. We enjoy the contrast between the visual continuity as one enters the community to the distinction of each houses’ design. We like our home for its clean, modern layout, which is highly functional for a large, very active family that includes teen-aged triplets. For kids, Jackson Meadow offers opportunities to discover and differentiate themselves as they explore nature in a world that is “wired.”

It’s great to live in Jackson Meadow. All ages are represented—retirees, families with young children, and those newly empty nesters. I can enjoy my privacy and also hear voices of kids playing in the summer evenings. I feel a sense of community at Jackson Meadow, which parlays into a sense of feeling secure and belonging. The homes are also built to last—with high quality materials and workmanship—and they are customized for each family. Our homes are built into the landscape, considering view and light, without destroying trees or plants or a neighbor’s sightline. With Jackson Meadow’s ecological focus, I feel we are doing something very worthwhile for the planet by living here.
